Without embedded networks. Compile from leonhurricaneX are faster.

Apparently this cant be compiled for Android via gcc on Termux... Engine always terminates.

Guess ill try ndk on termux or clang.

Hi Archimedes, i observed that Sugar don't have UCI Eval options "use NNUE" and "use CLASSICAL" in SUGAR 2.2 for Android. Those options were in Sugar 2.1 for Android.

Is it a compil or a source modification ?

Thanks
Archimedes

Author has changed that.

I made this one a bit differently than any engine I've posted on here, or anywhere else, before. It was made with clang 12.0.5 on my PC using android-ndk r23 beta 6... which is the latest version, yet still only a beta for the time being (not that that really matters)...
Anyway, no .mk (Android.mk, Application.mk) files were used, only the aarch64-linux-android30-clang++.cmd within the new AndroidNdk r23, a make utility I downloaded separately, and a bit of tinkering with the Makefile.

Speaking of --- like I said, I made this using android30 because that's the API my phone uses... however if it doesn't work for any of you, give me your version and I'll try to whip one up for you.

Tell me what yall think of this new technique used to make this engine and whether it feels plenty fast enough or not...

From all of ur engine's compiles.. this is the fastest one thumbsup
I mean from the engines with 45mb Net this one can touch 700K to 800K kn/s in my Droidfish at the first acceleration.. good job SwiftShips :sm36:
If I didn't see the Topic's author's name, I would think this is must be Leon's work or Slkynet's build.. laugh1
But now u had proved urself can build some engines with the same speed as theirs..

Congratulation and welcome to the "Master of Speed" Club :sun_bespectacled:
