He probably stopped the bot suddenly and did not notice it was playing a game and thats why it lost on time, because the config is fine.

I sent him instructions of how to stop it without runining the current game, hopefully he'll use them the next time.

You're right, Ibai also told me about it. Now I know that with quit (like when I close the UCI engines) the console closes when the game ends, Ibai told me this. I have lost two games due to this issue, but the important thing is that I can play with my friends from the forum, it consumes less hardware resources and so I can continue with my anthropology studies. What I have noticed is that although the .yml file is well configured in the book section, I have leschats added in the path, but the Scottish thing is playing me that I do not have it marked, nor is the white movement even there, in fact. I'm not sure, but I think we played a lot of bullet games today. I have to add the classic line and remove the bullet, because (even though I have the experience file with the engine somewhere else) it leaves the experience file with imprecise evaluations. My nickname is Africaata

Question, how much RAM have you configured for the bot?

I think I read in multiple places that a bigger hash table will lead to slower eval, and for 1 thread I think like 256/512MB hash should be allocated

and why do you open many useless accounts? that just show high ratings and never used, what's the point of creating the bot, isn't it that it can play?

In my case, I am interested in acceptable engine evaluations, which are not possible with the bullet. In any case, I imagine that each user thinks in one way and that's where I'm not going to go. i ticked bullet off i accept Rapid and blitz etc but not varients. others be like am not accepting challenges but busy sending . you have to be friends to play what is that?

In my particular case, since I can't speak for anyone else, I have the script configured and it accepts all the challenges and sends challenges. Africaata is my nickname, we can play without problems.

ohh i saw that username today but i think it was busy playing and i know many of us play one match at a go. i wonder what happened to flamerare. this was one of the craziest bots to play with.

I accept only standard chess challenges. Time controls: minimum: 3m+2s, 5m, 5m+3s, 8m+0s, 8m+1s, 10m+3s, 25m+1s only rated.
These are the time controls that I find useful for learning (my file experience).

In my case with most of my bots I accept almost any time control, ReinforcementTrial accepts even classical and chess960. I completely understand that some people play specific time controls, that is attached to their needs or even resources.

For example, if you dont have decent hardware, you should not play games without increment.
