Does this process remove duplicates too?
If it does, and you have time, could you please do it with my other PGNs, or could you PM me the process to do it (does it work on ChessBase 17?)?
No need for a PM. It's actually quite simple. Convert the PGN in ChessBase 17 to 2CBH or CBH, and then on the Maintenance Tab of the main page, click on Find Double Games (as long as you've already selected the database in question). You want to set the number of games to 100, and do an exact search on all three parameters, not excluding year and result. That should find what you're looking for.
Scid and Scid vs PC are a bit more complicated, but basically you import the PGN into the clipbase and select Twin Checker Window from the Maintenance menu. Just use the default settings, and make sure to have a backup. It should return a list of all the doubles. So you should choose to negate the search list. In Scid you right-click over the list. In Scid vs. PC there's a button near the bottom. That gives you what is left of your original list of games. You can choose to Export Game To PGN. In Scid you do it by right-clicking, or the bug in the software sometimes saves the whole list, instead of the filtered list without the doubles. In Scid vs PC it's in Tools -- Export Current Game.
Thanks a lot! Right now it is past 8PM so I'll try it tomorrow.. Will give credits to you in the Ultimate Database project as this helps a lot!
To double check, it saves the move in for example "1. e4 e5" format right, and not "1. e4 1... e5"?

The ellipsis is there for when you're continuing a movelist and it's Black's move. So, for instance, if normally it's 1.e4 e5, which is correct, but there's a variation, like 1.e4 (1.d4 d5) 1...e5, then you have to explicitly write out the move number with the indication for Black (the ellipsis). Otherwise it's assumed that the second half-move in a move is the Black move, since a move is partly defined by White going first.
I'm currently in the process of mirroring these files on my filehost (MediaFire). The whole thing should be up soon. This link should take you to the folder.
I should mention that if anyone has problems with these, to let me know. I've already used about half my allotted bandwidth. (There's a lot of these.) So that might be a problem too. There's about a terabyte of throughput left for everyone.
Many of the files look like they haven't been downloaded at all, which is why I just want to double-check that everyone can get them. In anyone can't, please say so. It probably would have something to do with permissions.
Hello there, Nemesis did invite me here a few years ago (thank you kindly!), but I lost the message in one of immortal forum's outages. I found this forum again last week (via the chessnerd website!) and noticed this thread. And there being interest in these chesscom elite databases. So happy new year, here's the 2023 ones, and the missing December 2022 one.
Same format as before, games involving players rated 1950 and above, excluding bullet games. Retrieved through the chess.com public API. These files are plain zip files, no password. Please do mirror and store.
