many thanks for this compile of the latest Crystal. I downloaded and installed it. The first tests with deep analysis look promising while the latest CorChess is very good there too.
I am also using your compile of Stockfish 13 which seems to be better than the official one.

OK, I managed to understand how to change the default NN while compiling the engine. I therefore share Crystal 3.2 with default nn-3475407dc199.nnue. This compilation solves the test position (quoted in my original post) in less than a minute at depth 17 or 18.

It seems that several posts have been lost in this thread. I'm sharing modern and BMI2 compilations of Joseph Ellis yesterday's update: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ixceowhhxlmabg8
Bonus 8 (if I remember correctly): similar topic as the Aronian vs Kramnik in the candidates 2018 match, I've found the following game very instructive. Unfortunately the commentary is quite shallow. I could not find the one I saw once by Robert Ris: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWGpIspZHiA&t=685s (Nepomniachtchi vs Bacrot 2018 Olympic)

No Crystal update today (but will keep sharing them, don't worry), yet given the support shown to my posts from you guys, I figured I'd tell you my brief story with chess (with bonus 9 at the end). Hope you enjoy it:
I learned to play at the young age of 6, and basically played taking chess lessons after school or at a "summer club" we usually go in Argentina when we're young. Unfortunately, and this is something I will forever regret, I completely abandoned the game between age 12 to 28. Basically Chess books were no match for my Nintendo 64 when I was young, and as years went by, I completely forgot about chess. Had I have had the multiple tools that we enjoy nowadays in our cell phones and computers, I'm sure I would have never quit.
The chess spark was dimly reignited during a trip in 2012 (age 25) in which I had an old iphone which would only be able to download a chess app in the appstore ("Chess" by Optime software). No matter how many takebacks I used, the engine in its top level would just kick my ass mercilessly. After returning from my trip I completely forgot about chess again. 3 years later, a boring afternoon I recalled the strength of this app and paired it against windows "chess titans", but the app still demolished windows software. Suddenly I had the great idea to google the world's strongest engine, and found that it was a 1mb .exe named Stockfish 6. After understanding how to use it, I paired it against the app and of course the outcome left me speechless... mesmerized. I wanted to play like this (impossible, obviously), and there was no going back. Chess was now my forever hobby.
Nowadays, my main interest is in calculation and solving concrete tactics puzzles (I also follow all big chess tournaments, several youtube channels, tcec, etc). I've learned that this helped me a lot in different tasks such as visualizing formulas in Excel before actually writing them, or just critical thinking in any given activity. I could not disagree more with the phrase "chess is 99% tactics". I rarely play an entire game of chess and do not have an actual rating in any online platform (I either rarely play over the board with a human or a chess engine on my pc), but I can tell you that I SUCK. Now, at tactics I achieved the following:
1) Chess.com tactics trainer: my top rating was 2970. This trainer throws puzzles with an only and absolute best move per position and will reward every move you nail. My over 2900 rating is absolutely overrated since the algorithm throws puzzles between 2400 up to 3100. I really struggle with puzzles over 2800 so I believe it is fair to say my true rating is between 2600 -2800.
2) Lichess.org puzzles: I rarely use it nowadays. My top rating was slightly over 2600. This trainer is one hard motherfucker. It is plagued of quiet moves or strategical advantages puzzles with tons of lines to calculate, some quite deep for my level. It truly shows how hard this game can be.
3) Chess24 tactics: I have a quick story with this one: back in 2017 I was rated 2000-2200 at chess.com tactics and gave this trainer a shot. I could barely stay within the 1400-1500 mark. These puzzles involve multiple sacrifices, deflections and creativity that I hardly faced at chess.com. I eventually finished the classic trainer (these guys should be named Cash24, I mean, are you so greedy to lock further tactics only for premium users?) and after starting a couple of years later the timed version of these tactics, I've decided to start compiling the problems in a pgn (after I was already rated over 2000 or 2100). And this is bonus 9, which I share for you to try out currently being rated slightly over 2500. Not sure if this is considered copyright, but if so, please any mod just delete the mediafire link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/caapkvt10vlbyuv

Crystal updated to default net nn-76a8a7ffb820.nnue (BMI2 and Modern compilations): https://www.mediafire.com/file/v62wvht81se62ut
Bonus 10 is my compilation of highly instructive games which I've encountered by following different youtube channels, among other sources. If you are a strong player, you can probably analyse them by yourself, otherwise I strongly advise to look these games up in youtube so that a professional can break down the reasoning behind each move: https://www.mediafire.com/file/wkhvju05ojnfin5
