Hi all
this is one tough job to do. its like finding a needle in a haystack. the thing is, you have to individually open each game to look for Lco engine. filter list of chessbase has no feature to select for specific engine, gl

Hi all
The Playchess games appear to have a standard format where the first name field is the player's Nickname and the second field is the engine name, Setting the filter details as in snapshot captures the Lc0 engine games en bloc. The asterisk in the first field effectively ignores the player's name by selecting all Nicknames.mocha1961 wrote:this is one tough job to do. its like finding a needle in a haystack. the thing is, you have to individually open each game to look for Lco engine. filter list of chessbase has no feature to select for specific engine, gl

Hi all
It may be worth double checking the Lc0 entry because it is case sensitive and many people use an "O" for Oscar rather than a "0" for Zero. I noted in your comment "Lco" was used instead of Lc0 that indicates a lower case "O" oscar was used instead of a zero? Because the search ctiteria is also case sensitive there using an upper case "C" as in LC0 will also return nothing as would a lower case "l". Upper and lower case characters have different binary values therefore the search character entry must be accurate.mocha1961 wrote:I tried that using chessbase15 but nothing came out although my database have players using Lco
Hope that helps,
