Intel® Software Development Emulator or Intel® SDE

Post by Igbo »

"This emulator is called Intel® Software Development Emulator or Intel® SDE, for short.

The current version is 9.33 and was released on Jan 07, 2024. This version corresponds to the Intel® Architecture Instruction Set Extensions Programming Reference revision 319433-051, the Intel® Advanced Vector Extensions 10 (Intel® AVX10) Architecture Specification and the Intel® Advanced Performance Extensions (Intel® APX) Architecture Specification available on the Intel Instruction Set Architecture page. The Intel® SDE release notes are here."

With this tool it would be possible to emulate the AVX2 instruction from an architecture like the one I have on my servers. SSE, AVX.? And if so, would anyone know how to do it?

Thank you in advance,
Jorge
