Promote to queen as White and win for material superiority.

2) e8R and threatening a checkmate is over!
(the clou was to get a rook and not a queen (because otherwise it's a draw)

let's say he is queening the pawn - what must white move still be able to win?

Obviously pawn h4 is winning move for white, now black can't make it a draw .....

Then my last try from that position, Bf2,
a sacrifice of bishop looks a promising win.

Bf2 loses also Karim:

1) e7 f1Q 2) Bf2 Qe2!

but there is a move which after 1) e7 2) f1Q white still secures the win

I had to check with Droidfish for the move to check if there really was a move and there is, but now I'm disqualified from this puzzle and I won't tell the solution. I just tell this is one of a hell of puzzle. Is this a grand masters thing??
