Might be caused by White running out of time / forfeiting on time, game will be adjudicated draw as black has insufficient material to win.

white queen did not do a simple mate 75. Qg6 (mate). instead white knight went galabanting around that ended up to a 3 fold repetition, hence a draw. Brainfish engine is to be blamed. sorry buddy

It is not the engine, but Fritz 17 GUI that is buggy... I had the same experience with Raubfisch using Fritz 17 GUI as well. Game was drawn in won game.

this second game. ever since pawn was promoted to queen, that queen never moved at all. it looks like another 3 fold repetition again. blame that to the Raubfisch engine i guess. sorry again .

I had the same mistake. The Fritz 17 GUI also makes mistakes at 6 men Syzygy. Tree fold repetition if position was won. I prefer now Fritz 15.

Hello everyone

Today when there was a draw with 3 Queens, I almost threw up in anger.
I was using Fritz GUI 16 and it had never happened before, of course until the last Chessbase update.
I don't use Fritz GUI 17 either. Will this problem never be solved by Chessbase.
I've already sent a ton of messages to support, but so far nothing.
Does anyone have any solutions? I'm running out of desire to play tournaments .... for what? Just to be nervous.

Greetings from Brazil.

The example game presented here indicates end game table base handling error when the GUI takes over from the engine. There was a mishandling of Syzygy bases by the Fritz GUI 14 too. I do not know if it was ever fixed because I disabled the GUI paths to the Syzygy bases and only retained GUI access to the Nalimov paths. The Syzygy path can be retained for the engine because the GUI uses different path entries for engine and GUI.

GUI 14 did not clear the Nalimov paths for the engines that caused a severe problem of slowing down the Houdini 6.03 Pro engine because the engine will access Nalimov bases as well as Syzygy with the latter being much faster. In the snapshot below, I created 3 dummy paths with empty folders for the engine paths. Something similar can be implemented if the GUI does not clear the Syzygy paths.

Yes!

I had the same problem with Fritz 17.

I'm going to do it like this:
GUI uses only 345 men Nalimov.
Engine uses Syzygy 3456 and some 7 men.

when i started putting some 7 men, i noticed slowing down of next moves but to the point that i can easily beat those 4 and 6 cores pc this time. the only complaint i have with Zagor who does playchess tours is kicking you out of the tour if you don't voluntarily draw a game. a game is a game in own opinion up to the last sec. just like in human games, carlsen lose many times because of time.
