These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on Outskirts CheSS ForuM. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

1. Forum Rules:
   
   1 - Using more than one account is not permitted and will most likely result in a ban.
   2 - Please post in the correct sub-forum.
   3 - Posts must be in the English language, using proper English rather than "text speak".
   3 bis - Only direct links to shared materials are allowed. Redirects to other forums/blogs are not allowed.
   -- Links to sites and blogs (Commercial Sale Services and Articles of any kind, they are forbidden)and personal web pages are only permitted in the signature.
   4 - Don't post in a spammy fashion. Here's what we mean by that:
   -- Be sure to use text decorations sparingly when posting. Large-size font, colors, all caps, and so forth can help with clarity, organization, or emphasis, but simply using these features to personalize or add flare to your posts is not allowed.
   -- Don't use the forums as a chat room. In general, threads are meant cover a specific topic, so keep that in mind when creating them!
   -- Don't spam posts with "lol" or a smiley without further input.
   -- Also not spam posts with the word thank you, (use the appropriate button).
   -- Post your messages only once. The repetitions are unpleasant and useless!
   5 - Refrain from the attack, insult, flame, defame, aggressive or slanderous messages, the coarseness and vulgarities. and don’t belittle, make fun off, or abuse members or non-members.
   6 - If you are looking for an answer to a specific question, first try a search using likely keywords.
   7 - Spamming is strictly forbidden. This includes posts about politics or religion.
   8 - Posting download links to or asking for illegal or commercial (including pricing/private seller matters ), and material including copyright material is not allowed.

   8 bis - Violation of the (GPL v3) license
   8c - With respect to the posting of test results/ links, it is mandatory that all Stockfish derivatives involved have a publicly available source. Any posting of test results containing closed source Stockfish derivatives is strictly prohibited and may result in a warning and/or ban.
   We inform all users of this forum that it is forbidden to insert links to engines that violate the provisions of the GPL license (without source code attached).
   Any non-compliance with the following provision will be punished with a permanent ban from the Forum.
   Posts containing interventions, questions and controversies relating to this provision will not be tolerated and therefore will be promptly deleted.
   9 - Posting download links to private material without the owner's permission is not allowed.
   10 - If an opening book/engine is a clone of another book/engine through forum member investigation, the book/engine will be marked, "clone". The only way to delete the clone books/engines, the original author must send a complaint about the clone book/engine containing all the evidences in the Opening Books/Chess Engines sub-forum.
   11 - Posting links to sites that offer illegal material is not permitted.
   12 - Do not post links with an unknown password.
   13 - The forum management cannot be held responsible for problems arising from any content posted or material downloaded present only temporarily for non-compliance with forum rules.
   14 - If you have a problem with another member, send a private message to a moderator.
   15 - Moderators reserve the right to remove posts that infringe these rules without notice.
   16- Posting download links to 4shared site as forbidden
   17- It is strictly forbidden to publish chess engines robots/BOT
   -- (Only free Lichess material is allowed or informative about BOTs)
   18- It is forbidden to advertise products for profit and to put forward sales offers without the permission of the Administrators.
   
   Violations of these rules could result in actions ranging from a warning to a ban. #

2. Board-Wide Rules and Regulations

   1. Prohibition of commercial content
      All users are reminded that commercial content, product download links, or purchase pages are not allowed in this forum.
      This prohibition also extends to informational content and release dates).
      
      Links to sites, personal blogs that contain direct sales systems or third-party commercial material are also prohibited in the signature.
      As a result of recent events, including continued misinterpretation of the forum rules, despite the fact that they are clearly stated,
      the commercial engine section has been removed.
      
      The forum management cannot be held responsible for problems arising from any content posted or material downloaded present only temporarily for non-compliance with forum rules.
      
      Moderators reserve the right to remove without notice posts that violate these rules.
      Violations of these rules may result in actions ranging from warning to ban. #
   2. Violation of the GPL license
      We inform all users of this forum that it is forbidden to insert links to engines that violate the provisions of the GPL license (without source code attached).
      Any non-compliance with the following provision will be punished with BAN Temporary and with multiple violations Permanent from the Forum.
